AUGUST PROPHETIC FOCUS:
(The Winning Wisdom – Prov 4:7)

ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:
“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven” (Eccl 3:1)
SUPPORTING SCRIPTURE:
“And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do; the heads of them were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their commandment” (1Chro 12:32)
Beloved, wisdom is not only knowing what to do; it is also knowing when to do it. There are things that are right but become wrong when done at the wrong time. The Bible, in the Supporting Scripture above tells us that the sons of Issachar understood the times and knew what Israel ought to do. They were not just knowledgeable; they had the wisdom to recognize their season and respond appropriately.
David also understood timing. He had already been anointed king, yet he did not rush to take the throne from Saul. He knew that God’s promise had a timing. David had the opportunity to kill Saul, but he refused because he understood that getting the promise was not more important than following God’s process.
Beloved MTDians, sometimes, we become frustrated because we are trying to force something before its time. At other times, we miss opportunities because we keep waiting when it is already time to move. Wisdom helps you recognize the difference.
There is a time to prepare and a time to launch. A time to wait and a time to act. A time to speak and a time to remain silent. When you understand God’s timing, you will not allow pressure to push you into premature decisions.
You don’t have to force every door open. When you walk in wisdom, you learn to recognize the doors God has opened and the seasons He has prepared.
PROPHETIC PRAYER:
Receive wisdom today to understand seasons and recognize divine timing, in Jesus name.
