ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:
“Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God” (1Cor 2:12)
Today is our weekly Tongues of Fire and we shall be focusing on Sharpening our Spiritual Sensitivity on the altar of prayer.
This is important because God may be speaking, but if our spiritual sensitivity is dull, we may miss His voice of direction. We cannot afford to neglect our prayer altar both as individuals and as a Devotional family if our spiritual antenna will be sharp.
Prayer helps us to be more sensitive to God and the leading of the Holy Spirit. As we pray consistently, our spirit becomes more receptive to the promptings and directions of the Holy Spirit.
This is why we are gathering today for 30 minutes of prayer from 12noon WAT (UTC +1).
We will pray both in the language of the Holy Ghost and with our understanding, allowing the Holy Spirit to strengthen our inner man and sharpen our spiritual sensitivity.
Come with your heart open. Come with a hunger for God. There is something the Holy Spirit wants to make you see, hear and understand today.
