WEEKLY TONGUES OF FIRE
(Praying All Prayer In The Spirit)
ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:
“Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints” (Eph 6:18)
PERSONAL PRAYER:
“Father, baptise me with the Spirit of grace and supplication, in Jesus name – Amen.“
One of the greatest gifts God gave to us believers is the Holy Spirit. He does not only help us to live for God; He also helps us to pray effectively. Apostle Paul in today’s anchor scripture instructs us to pray all prayers in the Spirit because there are many things we do not know, understand, or see. When we pray in the Spirit, the Holy Ghost helps us to pray according to the will of God.
Praying in the Spirit helps us to pray correctly. There are times when we may not know what to ask God for, but the Holy Spirit knows exactly what is needed and helps us pray in line with God’s will in those areas of need.
Praying in the Spirit is a vital weapon in spiritual warfare. By praying in tongues, we engage the forces of darkness, resist the enemy, and establish God’s will in our lives.
These and more form the reason why, as a Devotional Family, we come together every Friday by 3pm Nigeria Time to pray in the Holy Ghost for 30 minutes. Today is such a day. Join us as we allow the Spirit to pray through us and bring God’s purpose to pass in our lives.
