ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:
“Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered” (Rom 8:26)
PERSONAL PRAYER:
“Father, thank you for the gift of the Holy Ghost. Open my eyes to understand His ministry in my life as I read today’s MTD, in Jesus name – Amen.“
Prayer is one of the greatest privileges God has given to us. Yet, He never intended us to pray all by ourselves. That is why He gave us the Holy Spirit to be our Helper and our Prayer Partner. The Holy Spirit knows the mind of God and helps us pray according to God’s perfect will.
There are times when we are faced with situations we do not fully understand. At such moments, we may not know exactly what to pray for. This is where the ministry of the Holy Spirit comes in. As we yield to Him, especially in praying in the Holy Ghost, He helps us to pray according to the will of God.
The Holy Spirit is not just with us; He is in us and one of His assignments is to help us pray effectively. The more we depend on Him, the more fruitful and impactful our prayer lives become.
