TEXT: “I waited patiently for the LORD; he turned to me and heard my cry” (Psalm 40:1 – NIV)
- PRAYER: “Father, thank you because your Word has the power to transform. As I read today’s Morning Tea Devotional, let your Word penetrate my heart and mind, transforming my life into a better one, in Jesus name – Amen.”
God has spoken, and if you have done all you know to do, then, wait on Him. Waiting can be hard, but it is part of trusting God’s timing. God’s ways are different from ours. We might think He’s late, but He’s just preparing us for our blessings. He makes all things beautiful in His time.
If you ask great men and women of faith today, they will tell you that they all experienced seasons of waiting. So, wait patiently and expectantly. Because God will surely appear in your case!
Are people laughing at you? Don’t seek shortcuts or forget God in your quest to come out of your challenges. Hannah was mocked and ridiculed by her co-wife, Peninnah. But Hannah didn’t give up.
Beloved, don’t give up! God sees your tears, your pain, and your struggles. He knows your name, and He cares deeply about what you’re going through.
Hannah’s story is a reminder that God can turn your shame into joy, your sorrow into laughter, and your darkness into light. Just when it seemed like all hope was lost, God showed up for her and changed her story.
You might feel like you’re at the end of your rope, but God is saying to you today, “Hold on! I’m working everything out for your good.” Don’t let the enemy whisper lies to you. You are not alone, and you are not forgotten. God is with you, and He’s fighting for you. Wait patiently. Your miracle is on the way. And when it arrives, you’ll laugh again, you’ll sing again, and you’ll dance again.
