- PRAYER: “Father, thank you for the transformative power of Your Word. Let today’s Morning Tea Devotional transform my life and and shape my destiny, in Jesus name. Amen.”
As believers, we are delivered from the power of darkness to serve the living God, not just to bear the title “born again.” Our primary reason for salvation is to serve God as shown in our anchor scripture above. Serving God is a lifetime responsibility that requires our spiritual, physical, and financial commitment.
One vital aspect of serving God is soul winning. Jesus’ earthly ministry was centered on seeking and saving the lost (Luke 19:10), and He has commissioned us to do the same (Matt 28:18-20). Soul winning is not exclusive to pastors or evangelists; it’s a general assignment for all Christians.
God values soul winning above all else, and there’s joy in heaven when one sinner repents (Luke 15:10). Soul winning is the most profitable of all Kingdom services because it covers all things we will ever need. The value of a soul to God is worth more than all the wealth of the world put together. “For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul” (Matt 16:26).
However, soul winning is not complete until the soul is established in the Church (John 15:16). As you commit yourself to soul winning and establishing them in the Church, you are set for your turnaround testimonies.
Please note that serving God is not limited by our age, social status, or possessions. God demands our service regardless of who we are or what we have. By prioritizing soul winning as an act of service to God, you have committed God to showcase His strange works and strange acts in your life.
PROPHETIC PRAYER: May the passion for souls that took Jesus to the Cross envelope your life today, in Jesus name.
