TEXT: “It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High” (Psalms 92:1)
I welcome you to a week of celebration. As God lives, your celebration this season shall not be truncated by Satan and his cohort, in Jesus name.
As our custom is, today is MTD Hour of Mercy. It is an hour that God answers us according to His mercy when we call on Him in faith.
Our focus today shall be on thanksgiving for what God did for us so as to receive more from Him. We shall be thanking God individually for the blessings we received in the year. If you thank God for what He has done for you, you prepare yourself for more from Him. Gratitude to God makes you a candidate for more blessings from Him. Nobody wants to bless and keep blessing an ungrateful fellow.
The Bible says: “Then out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry; I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small” (Jer 30:19).
Multiplication and increase always manifest in the life of a thanksgiver. Keep thanking God, and God shall keep multiplying, increasing and promoting you. When Jesus gave thanks before the little meal available was shared, as we examined last week, the little meal was multiplied and five thousand men were fed. Fragments of food gathered were more than the original meals (John 6:11-13). All happened at the instance of thanksgiving.
ACTION STEP:
Instead of grumbling or complaining about the little you think you have this season, go to God and give Him thanks today between 12pm-1pm of your country’s time. I perceived that God wants to multiply what you have and ensure that it’s not just enough, but you have excess this season. His name is El-Shaddai, the All-sufficient God.
PRAYER: As you thank God today for the little you have, there shall be supernatural increase of it this week, in Jesus name.
GOOD NEWS!
As announced yesterday, Saturday 30th December 2023 (last Saturday of the year) is MTD thanksgiving day (1st of its kind). We shall all be retuning with a loud of voice of thanksgiving to God who sustained us all through 2023. We will thank Him in a dance and with our resources. What we thank God for cannot down. So, MTD as a mandate and you the partner will never go down in life, destiny and in impact come 2024, in Jesus name.
DETAILS ON THE MODALITIES:
- We shall gather our family together in our various homes early hour of that morning to give thanks to God for sustaining MTD for these years.
- We shall be thanking Him for the impact MTD has on the globe since inception.
- We shall be praising Him in a dance for at least 10mins.
- And we shall offer what we have to Him (Call for details on this).
As we thank God for His grace and for impact of MTD, we shall yet see greater grace and impact in 2024, in Jesus name.
