THE WISDOM OF GOD

ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:
“But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy” (James 3:17)

The fourth kind of wisdom is the Wisdom of God, also called the Wisdom from above. It is the ability to see situations from God’s perspective and respond according to His Word. This Wisdom helps us make decisions that agree with God’s will, even when our human understanding suggests otherwise.

The question, then, is: how do we recognize the wisdom that comes from God? Our anchor scripture reveals seven characteristics that help us identify it.

  1. IT IS PURE: The Wisdom of God is free from sinful motives and compromise. It helps you not to lie, cheat, or manipulate someone even when doing so would give you an advantage.
  2. IT IS PEACEABLE: The Wisdom of God promotes peace. It is this Wisdom at work when someone offends you, you choose to address the matter calmly instead of responding with anger or insults.
  3. IT IS GENTLE: The Wisdom of God helps you stand for the truth without being harsh. It helps you to correct someone who is wrong without humiliating or speaking harshly to them.
  4. IT IS EASY TO BE INTREATED: The Wisdom of God makes you teachable, approachable, and willing to listen. That is, when someone points out your mistake, you listen, accept correction, and make the necessary change.
  5. IT IS FULL OF MERCY AND GOOD FRUITS: The Wisdom of God produces compassion and moves you to bless others. For example, instead of ignoring someone who is struggling, you show compassion and offer whatever help you can.
  6. IT IS WITHOUT PARTIALITY: The Wisdom of God helps you treat people fairly without favouring anyone because of their wealth, position, or relationship with you. You treat everyone with fairness, whether the person is rich or poor, influential or not.
  7. IT IS WITHOUT HYPOCRISY: The Wisdom of God is genuine and sincere, without pretending or double standards.

This is the wisdom we need for our daily lives. And because this wisdom comes from above, we need the help of the Holy Spirit to walk in it.

I encourage you to spend at least 15 minutes in prayer, especially praying in the Holy Ghost, from now until the end of the month. As you pray, the Holy Spirit will fill you with this Wisdom and teach you how to apply it to every situation, in Jesus name. You can also join us to pray this Friday from 12noon Nigeria Time

PROPHETIC PRAYER:
I see the Wisdom of God paving way for you in every situation, in Jesus name.

DAILY DECLARATION:
“This year 2026, strange doors are opening for me, bringing me into my next-level breakthrough and establishing me to reign as a king, in Jesus name – Amen.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT:
“God’s Wisdom is the ability to see situations from God’s perspective and respond according to His Word.”
