ANCHOR SCRIPTURE: “And being let go, they went to their own company, and reported all that the chief priests and elders had said unto them” (Acts 4:23)
- PERSONAL PRAYER: “Father, thank you for the power in Your Word that transforms. May the Morning Tea Devotional today transform my life and destiny, in Jesus name – Amen.”
We give all glory to God for His mighty move in our program yesterday. His Power, Presence, and Prophetic release were undeniable. I pray that the God you encountered will visit you again with answers, in Jesus name. Every prophetic word over your life shall manifest speedily, and your labour shall not be in vain, in Jesus name. Every seed you sowed shall bring forth abundantly, in Jesus name.
We also thank God for the deep secrets He continues to reveal to us by His Spirit. Jesus said, “Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom” (Mark 4:11).
So, what further secret to Power does God want us to discover from the story of the apostles?
We understand from today’s anchor scripture that keeping the right company attracts the Power of God. Despite the opposition the disciples faced, their connection with God and with one another led to a greater outpouring of God’s power. The Bible says: “And with great power gave the apostles witness… and great grace was upon them all” (Acts 4:33). I pray that you will experience this Power this month onwards, in Jesus name.
Beloved, if you desire God’s Power, mind the company you keep. Your friends reflect who you are or who you’re becoming. The Bible says: “He that walketh with the wise shall be wise…” (Proverbs 13:20). When challenges arise, who do you run to? Peter and John returned to their own company; those who could pray with them.
Be careful who you share your problems with. Seeking help from the wrong sources will only make things worse. Instead, turn to those who will lift you up in prayer, like the apostles, and watch God’s Power manifest.
You are as good or as bad as the friends you keep. Friendship is by choice, not by force. Choose wisely. Your association will either lift you or limit you.
PROPHETIC PRAYER: You are free from every wrong association that has limited you hitherto, in Jesus name.
