TEXT: “Until the time that his word came: the word of the Lord tried him. The king sent and loosed him…” (Ps 105:19-20)
The world we live in is full of battles with different challenges. Even the very so-called rich are not left out. You overcome one today and at the edge of celebrating your victory, here comes another one stirring at you in the face. Yes, as Bishop David Oyedepo rightly said; it is normal to be challenged but unscriptural to be defeated. Jesus Himself said that in the world you shall have tribulations/challenges, but be of good cheers because He has overcome the world (John 16:33).
There may be battles going on in your life, home or relationship right now. Most times you don’t know what to do and you want to give up. Beloved, you are hearing the right word this morning. The Bible says: “How forcible are right words” (Job 5:6). Joseph was a victim of trials “Until the time that His word came; the word of the Lord tried Him, the king sent for Him and loosed Him and let Him go free” (Ps 105:18-19).
I don’t know what is giving you heart aches right now or questions you have no answers to. God is a God of over night Interventions. He brought the children of Israel out of Egypt one night after 430 years of slavery. Peter was in prison to be beheaded the next day but that night as prayers was made for him, an angel of the Lord came to rescue him (Acts 12). God is bringing you out of that challenge right now.
Peter toiled all the night, but right word located him. The right word to you this morning is: “Pursue, overtake and without fail, recover all.”
PRAYER: So shall it be. Go and enjoy favour for total recovery, in Jesus name.

Be reminded that Saturday 30th December 2023 (last Saturday of the year) is MTD thanksgiving day. We shall all be returning with a loud voice of thanksgiving to God who sustained MTD all through 2023. We will thank Him in a dance and with our resources. We shall thank Him for making MTD impactful this year. As we do this, we shall receive grace for more impact in 2024, in Jesus name.
