Serving God is Kingdom business with undeniable returns. This is not serving your church or Pastor, but genuine service to God that comes with great profits. Let’s see another profit of serving God.
- IT SECURES DIVINE PRESENCE AND FAVOUR. The Presence of God is the most precious gift we can experience as believers. His Presence is the essence of His being, His power, and His love. When we serve God, we invite His Presence into our lives, and this Presence transforms us, empowers us, and blesses us.
Jesus said, “And lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world” (Matt 28:20). This promise comes alive in us when we serve God.
Divine Presence magnets favour. This gracious and unmerited blessing of God opens doors, breaks barriers, and brings success and prosperity into our lives.
The Bible says, “For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly” (Psalm 84:11). When we walk uprightly in service, He will not withhold good thing from us, and His Favour will surrounds us like a shield.
For example, Joseph. Despite being sold into slavery and imprisoned, Joseph continued to serve God, and God’s Presence and favour elevated him to become the second-in-command in Egypt (Gen 41:40-43). It is your turn!
PROPHETIC PRAYER: Your service to God this season onwards will provoke the release of God’s Presence and favour on your life, in Jesus name.
