ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:
“Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof” (Prov 18:21)
PERSONAL PRAYER:
“Father, thank you for the power in Your Word that transforms. May the Morning Tea Devotional today transform my life and destiny, in Jesus name – Amen.”
Beloved, one of the ways to stir up the Power of God within you for tangible results is through the right use of your tongue. God’s Power in your life requires the cooperation of the words of your mouth to manifest effectively. There is a God-given force embedded in your tongue, how you use it determines what you experience in life. The tongue can build or destroy. Though small, it carries the capacity to ruin years of labour in a moment.
Unfortunately, many people, even Christians, live under self-inflicted curses caused by their careless speech. The Power of God in you remains inactive when your tongue is out of alignment with it. In this month of Power to Bring Forth, be intentional about what you say concerning your life, family, business, and destiny.
Remember, life and death are not in circumstances, they’re in your tongue. Don’t use your mouth to bury your own progress. Many glorious destinies have been cut short simply because of negative words. The tongue is a potential destroyer when not controlled. Don’t let your own words invite destruction into your life.
It’s surprising to hear some people say, “Nothing is working,” even after praying and fasting. How can anything work when their words are sowing seeds of failure? The Bible says: “You shall have whatsoever you say” (Mark 11:23). Guard your words beloved. Be quick to listen and slow to speak. What you say today becomes what you live tomorrow.
Be wise!
