TEXT: “And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine…His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it” (John 2:3-5)
Let me start this morning by saying that majority of us have prayed and prayed and are still praying for divine visitation to happen but, it seems as if the prayer is not been heard by God. Hear me; the root cause of many unanswered prayers is disobedience to divine instructions. Disobeyed instruction was what caused Adam and Eve to lose their place in the Garden of Eden and nothing God could do about it. When pray, instructions will come. Prompt obedience to those instructions is what brings the release of the answers.
Every delayed answers to prayers you are experiencing today is not just the devil that is behind it; some are as a result of one instruction or the other that you either disobeyed, ignored or misunderstood. The Bible says: “If you are willing and obedient you shall eat the good of the land.” The greatest blessings from God come when you obey Him.
Your answers to prayers are in the place of your obedience to prophetic instructions. For instance, in today’s anchor scripture, when Mary, the mother of Jesus came to ask Jesus for wine (prayer), it was obedience to Jesus’ instruction that manifested the expected answer (John 2:1-7).
Beloved child of God, God always rewards obedience to instructions. God’s instructions can either come to you through personal study of the Bible or through His sent man. Take heed to God’s instructions from these channels because answers to your prayers happen when these instructions are obeyed promptly and properly.
PRAYER: You will not miss your encounters this season, in Jesus name.
DAILY CONFESSION: This year 2023, I am finally on a Covenant Highway, Jesus is giving me Answers and I am enjoying Rest Round About – Amen and Amen!
