ANCHOR SCRIPTURE: “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him” (Acts 10:38)
- PERSONAL PRAYER: “Father, thank you for the power in Your Word that transforms. May the Morning Tea Devotional today transform my life and destiny, in Jesus name – Amen.”
Let me start by saying that as a child of God, you’re destined for greatness. Every one of us has a unique assignment to fulfill. This assignment is referred to as divine plan or destiny, and it’s glorious because it’s rooted in our relationship with Christ. As we begin this month, you must recognise that you have a unique role to play in God’s agenda.
However, this divine assignment or purpose will remain unfulfilled until you are empowered to do so. Mary, for example, was destined to bring forth Jesus Christ, and she was empowered by the Holy Ghost to fulfill that assignment. God’s empowerment is vital for fulfilling our destiny.
The Bible says: “According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue” (2Peter 1:3).
Through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit, we have access to all things that pertain to life and godliness, including access to the guidance, wisdom, and strength needed to fulfill our unique assignments. This month, I encourage everyone in the MTD Family to seek baptism in the Holy Spirit. Without this, you may struggle to access God’s plan, let alone fulfill it.
If you are already baptized in the Holy Spirit, it is not enough, strive to grow in Power. You cannot have this Power and miss it in life. Wandering away from God’s plan equals a life of struggles without end (Prov 29:18). That won’t be you in Jesus name.
PROPHETIC PRAYER: Your struggles in life and destiny ends this month, in Jesus name.
