THE LASTING JOY

Thursday, 25th December 2025

By Pst Israel Olorunfemi

ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:
“These things have I spoken unto you, that My joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.” (John 15:11)

OBJECTIVE:
“To remind MTDians that the joy Jesus gives is lasting and to encourage them to live daily in fellowship with Him.”

PERSONAL PRAYER:
“Father, thank you for the gift of your Son Jesus. Let your Word today fill my heart with love and peace, in Jesus name – Amen.”

Beloved, the birth of Jesus reminds us not only of His coming into the world but of the lasting joy He brings into our lives. The joy Jesus Christ gives is not seasonal or emotional; it is a joy that endures. While circumstances may change, this joy remains because it is rooted in a relationship with Him.

Many experience moments of excitement but return to emptiness afterward. This happens when Jesus is remembered but not followed. Hear me; true and lasting joy flows from abiding in Christ daily, walking in obedience, trusting His Word, and serving others in love. The more we stay connected to Jesus, the fuller our joy becomes.

In this season of celebration, don’t just reflect on the birth of the Lord Jesus, cultivate and abide in His Presence. Let the joy He brought into the world shine through your life, your words, and your actions. When the joy of the birth of Christ remains in you, you become a carrier of hope to a world still searching for answers.

Compliment of the season to you and all MTDians all over the world.

PROPHETIC PRAYER:
May the joy unspeakable, full of glory fills your heart this season and always, in Jesus name.
