ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:
“Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints” (Eph 6:18)
Glory to God for another opportunity to recharge our spirits to meet the demands of the season by praying in the Holy Ghost.
Beloved, there are days when prayer feels difficult, not because you don’t want to pray, but because you don’t know where to even start from. Your heart is full, yet your words are few. Your mind is overwhelmed, and everything feels unclear.
In such moments, you don’t have to struggle with words. You just switch to a better way, praying in the Holy Ghost.
Praying in tongues takes you beyond human limitation and allows the Holy Spirit to help you pray accurately. Even when you don’t understand what you are saying, your spirit is speaking directly to God. And as you continue, you just notice that something begins to happen within you. You become settled on the inside.
Nothing around you may have changed yet, but you are no longer the same, and that inner change is what leads to outward victory.
Hear me, praying in tongues is not reserved for a privileged few or for a particular denomination, it is a gift from God to every born again child. And you know what? It is for our benefit. The more we engage it, the more we benefit from it.
This is why, as a Devotional family, we come together every Friday for 30 minutes to pray in tongues. It is a time to recharge our spirit as we pray beyond our understanding.
We are meeting again today.
