ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:
“Thanks be unto God for His unspeakable gift” (2Cor 9:15)
OBJECTIVE:
“To help MTDians understand that Jesus Christ is God’s greatest gift to humanity and to inspire a lifestyle of gratitude in response to this gift.”
PERSONAL PRAYER:
“Father, thank you for your Word. As I read today’s MTD, open my eyes to behold wondrous things in your Word, in Jesus name – Amen.“
In this season of thanksgiving as a Devotional Family, we must remember the greatest gift God has given to us, Jesus Christ. Beyond material blessings, safety, or daily provision we enjoyed in the year, the gift of Jesus remains the highest expression of God’s love to us. God did not only bless us with gifts; He gave us His only begotten Son.
Through Jesus, we received forgiveness of sins, restoration of fellowship with God, and the assurance of eternal life. This gift is the foundation of every other blessing we enjoy. When we understand this truth, thanksgiving flows naturally.
Let me remind you that true thanksgiving goes beyond spoken words or songs of worship. It is revealed in how we live, give, serve, and share the message of Christ with others, especially in this season.
If you are indeed grateful for salvation, the greatest blessing, you will walk in humility, love, and obedience, reflecting Christ daily and becoming a channel of blessing to others not only in this season but you will make it your lifestyle.
PROPHETIC PRAYER:
I pray that the revelation of Jesus Christ, the greatest gift to mankind, become clearer to you than ever, in Jesus name.
