TEXT: “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God” (Phil 4:6)
Let me start by saying that anxiety and worry are the devil’s tactics to disconnect you from God’s promises and steal your faith. If you’re feeling like the year is half gone and God’s promises have not manifested yet, don’t give in to the enemy called anxiety! Instead, choose to trust God’s faithfulness and hold on to His promises. Remember, anxiety is not a weapon of warfare, but faith is.
You are said to be anxious when you’re in a state of intense apprehension, unease, and restlessness in response to a specific situation.
Anxiety and faith are like opposing forces; when anxiety gains a foothold, faith is suffocated. But when you redirect your focus away from your own limitations and back to God’s ability, faith is revitalized, and anxiety loses its grip.
Beloved, when you find yourself worrying over certain issues in your life, it’s a sign that your faith is wavering. That’s why we are commanded to be anxious for nothing. God has a plan for every step of your life, so trust Him more. Don’t let anxiety hinder you from walking the path God has ordained for you. God will surely fulfill His promises in His perfect timing, not yours.
Anxiety and worry are tools that the devil has used throughout history to hinder God’s people from moving forward. But you shall not be a victim of these tactics, in Jesus name!
PROPHETIC PRAYER: Every anxiety that the devil has planted in your heart to rob you of your testimony is cast out, right now, in Jesus name!
