ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:
“Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits” (Psalm 103:2)
PERSONAL PRAYER:
“Father, keep my heart mindful of your goodness. I will never forget your faithfulness, and my praise will never run dry in Jesus name – Amen.“
One of the greatest boosters of genuine praise is remembrance. It is difficult to sincerely remember what God has done and still withhold your praise.
David understood this when he said, “Forget not all His benefits.” He knew that forgetfulness weakens one’s praise, while remembrance keeps it alive. Many times, we become so occupied with what we are still trusting God for that we overlook what He has already done.
Beloved, think about your life. Who has preserved you, provided for you, forgiven you, and brought you this far? God right? Every answered prayer, every open door, and every act of mercy you in your life is a reason to praise Him.
From today, don’t allow forgetfulness to rob you of your songs of praise. Always count your blessings, remember His faithfulness, and let your heart overflow with genuine praise.
Take a minimum of 10 minutes today to recall God’s goodness and turn every remembrance into praise.
