ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:
“How long shall I bear with this evil congregation, which murmur against me? I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel, which they murmur against me” (Num 14:27)

OBJECTIVE:
“To help readers understand that gratitude is a spiritual attitude that attract God’s Presence.”

PERSONAL PRAYER:
“Father, thank you for your Word to me today. Let it minister to my heart and strengthen my faith, in Jesus name – Amen.

Gratitude is more than words, it is a posture of the heart that attracts God to intervene in our challenges. God draws close to people who thank Him, not people who complain or murmur. He cannot resist anyone with a grateful heart.

Many times, we focus so much on what is yet to happen that we forget what God has already done. This was the mistake of the Israelites in today’s anchor scripture; their constant complaints and murmuring shut the door to God’s help. But Jesus showed us another way. He responded to every challenge with thanksgiving.

When the loaves were not enough to feed five thousand men, He gave thanks, and the little multiplied (John 6:11). When Lazarus was dead and buried for four days, He gave thanks, and life was restored (John 11:41). Thanksgiving brings God into the scene before the miracle comes.

A grateful heart says: “Lord, I trust You even when I don’t understand.” God always responds to that kind of faith with intervention and breakthroughs. This month, beloved, choose gratitude over complaint. Gratitude prepares the ground for God to move. As you do:

PROPHETIC PRAYER:
I see God responding to your gratitude with supernatural intervention, in Jesus name.
