MAY PROPHETIC FOCUS:
“The Wonders of Grace” (2Cor 9:8)

ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:
“And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams” (1Sam 15:22)
PERSONAL PRAYER:
“Father, as I read your Word today, open my eyes to see what is in it for me, in Jesus name – Amen.“
We discovered this month that grace is the help of God made available to man for victorious living. However, it is one thing to receive grace and another thing to sustain it. Many people enjoy this divine help at a point in their lives, but lose it because they abandon the habits that sustain it.
One of the habits that sustains grace is obedience. Grace flows continuously in the life of anyone who takes God’s instructions seriously. Many people pray for grace, but grace cannot be preserved where obedience is lacking.
King Saul in our anchor scripture lost what God placed upon his life because he disregarded divine instructions. Abraham on the other hand, enjoyed increasing grace because he obeyed God even when it was difficult. What about Noah? He enjoyed the grace of God because he obeyed God completely. Despite how strange the instruction sounded, he followed it and was preserved from destruction.
Obedience to God is proof that you trust Him. When you obey God even when it is difficult, unclear or uncomfortable, that’s the demonstration of your faith in God. That obedience will always keep you aligned with divine help.
Beloved, do not treat God’s instructions casually. What God tells you to stop, stop. What He tells you to do, do it promptly. Continuous obedience keeps the grace of God flowing in your life.
PROPHETIC PRAYER:
I pray that the grace of God on your life will be on the increase, in Jesus name.
