TEXT: “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith” (Mark 11:23)
As we close to the end of the month, I want to emphasise that the Word of God is powerful and effective. It has the capacity to produce our desired testimonies. When the word of God is spoken in faith, it brings desired results and transforms negative situations into victories, at any time and any day.
However, for the Word of God to produce our testimonies, we must declare it. The Word of God is creative but, for it to release its creative power in our lives, it must be released from our mouths. “And God said…” (Gen 1:3). Only the spoken Word of God has the power to creates. Believing it is not enough. Believing the word of God turns it into power, while speaking it out turns it into a creative force!
The word of God in our mouth guarantees our testimonies. When you as a child of God, born of the Spirit speak God’s Word to negative situations and circumstances, they are bound to change. So, when you speak the Word of God in faith to that current situation of your life, victory is guaranteed. Today’s anchor scripture says: “Whosoever shall say to this mountain…” In your mountain experience, what are you saying from your mouth?
Also, for God’s Word to yield your desired testimony, you must take responsibility to act on it. It is the act of obedience that brings testimony. God’s Word is absolute truth, a reliable foundation for our lives. When Jesus instructed Peter to cast his net into the sea despite a fruitless night of fishing, Peter’s obedience led to a miraculous harvest (Luke 5:5-7). This demonstrates the power of acting on God’s Word, which brings extraordinary results and transforms our lives.
So, arise, speak and and act on the Word of God today!
