TEXT: “And Saul sent to Jesse, saying, Let David, I pray you, stand before me: for he has found favor before me” (1Sam 16:22)

This is our month of Uncommon Favour in the MTD Family. From the beginning of the month, we are made to understand that labour is good but, favour is better. Labour is good because according to the Bible, in all labour, there is profit (Prov 14:23). However, what your years of labour cannot give you, a day of favour can. This month, you shall be decorated with favour, in Jesus name.

It doesn’t matter where a man is in life, when the favour of God is upon him, his position will change suddenly. When the favour of God is upon you, your story will turn to glory and your shame will turn to double honour. That was the case with David in today’s anchor scripture.

Beloved, don’t let anyone tell you there’s no hope for you. That’s a lie of the devil. It doesn’t matter how hopeless your situation seems at the moment, an encounter with the favour of God can turn things around suddenly. David, a wanderer as it were, turned to a wonder to his generation by his encounter with favour. Unqualified, yet he was selected, because he was a man after God’s own heart. The favour of God upon him attracted the King to him. Favour took him from the wilderness and brought him to the Palace – Hallelujah!

I am telling you what will happen to you from now on. Don’t despise yourself. Don’t look down on yourself. I can hear a sound of victory in your life already. Be ready – you will hear good news of favour before the end of this month in Jesus name. The favour of God will bring your expectations to pass in Jesus name.

PRAYER: You shall be selected by favour for promotion and lifting this month, in Jesus name.

DAILY CONFESSION:
This year 2024, I am advancing in adversity because I’ve been redeemed to flourish in hard times therefore my life shall be full of wonders. Amen and amen.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT: “When the favour of God is upon you, your story will turn to glory and your shame will turn to double honour.”
