- PRAYER: “Father, thank you because your Word has the power to transform. As I read today’s Morning Tea Devotional, let your Word penetrate my heart and mind, transforming my life into a better one, in Jesus name – Amen.”
Welcome to our week of thanksgiving. As earlier announced, this Saturday, 21st December, is Morning Tea Devotional general thanksgiving when as MTD family we will express our deepest gratitude to God for His blessings this year.
We’re thanking God for the salvation of souls via MTD this year, for the miraculous rescue of people from the grip of death, for supernatural provision that has sustained us as a Devotional and as an individual, and for sustaining the flow of revelation in the MTD.
As we prepare to offer thanksgiving to God, expect this reward in addition to what we have examined:
- COVENANTED BLESSINGS. These are blessings that God releases to us based on His covenant. Psalm 50:5 says, “Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.”
After the flood, Noah’s first act was to build an altar and offer burnt offerings to God, expressing his heartfelt gratitude for saving his life and the lives of his family. God was deeply pleased with Noah’s act of thanksgiving.
As a result, God made a promise to Noah that He would never again destroy the earth with a flood. This promise was sealed with a rainbow, which became a symbol of God’s covenant to Noah and to all humanity. Noah’s act of thanksgiving had a profound impact. It stopped the curse on the earth and brought peace and prosperity.
Beloved, as we express gratitude to God as a Devotional this weekend, our act of thanksgiving is ordained by God to stop any curse in anyone’s life.
PROPHETIC PRAYER: As we thank God this weekend, every curse holding anyone captive shall be broken, in Jesus name.
