TEXT: “And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small” (Jer 30:19)
- PRAYER: “Father, thank you because your Word has the power to transform. As I read today’s Morning Tea Devotional, let your Word penetrate my heart and mind, transforming my life into a better one, in Jesus name – Amen.”
Every commandment in Scripture is primarily for our benefit. Thanksgiving is a commandment, and its rewards are numerous. As we explore them from today, may they manifest in your life, in Jesus name.
- THANKSGIVING FACILITATES PROGRESS. Your life cannot remain stagnant if you cultivate a lifestyle of thanksgiving. Are you trusting God to shift you forward in life? Thank Him for the level you are now, and He will move you to the next level. Nothing hinders progress like ingratitude. Thank God for that job while you expect a better one. Thank God that you’re alive and educated. It’s someone who is alive that can think about getting a job.
Don’t complain about why God didn’t prevent your miscarriage; instead, thank Him for the gift of life, and you will conceive again. Don’t lament about not having a child yet; thank God for giving you a spouse, and children will follow. Don’t grumble about not having a marriage partner yet; thank God that He has made you a worthy partner, and the right person will come along.
There is always something to be thankful for. If you want to see God’s blessings manifest quickly in your life this season, get a book and write down all the good things God has done for you since the year began. Then, offer Him heartfelt thanks. Within the next seven days your long awaited miracle will be in your hand in Jesus name!
PRAYER: As you thank God this season, your life shall move forward, in Jesus name.
