TEXT: “He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward” (Matt 10:41)
OPENING PRAYER: “Father, I recognize the transformative power of your Word. As I read today’s Morning Tea Devotional, I ask that your Word penetrate my heart and mind, transforming my life and shaping my destiny, in Jesus name – Amen.”
This month is our month of Undeniable Profits! To see the fulfillment of this prophetic word, we must recognize and honour the Pastor/Prophet God sends to guide us per time. This anointed vessel is God’s appointed agent, entrusted with a divine mandate to impart blessings and transformation in our lives.
However, we need to recognize this God’s sent man. Many struggle today, not because they don’t pray, but because they’re insensitive to the channels God uses to reach them per time. The book of Acts chapter 3 tells the story of a lame man at the Beautiful Gate. He recognized Peter and John as God’s appointed messengers, drew their attention and received healing that ended his lifelong begging.
God’s sent man over you is someone who:
- Consistently speaks prophetically into your life.
- Regularly intercedes for you through prayer.
- Brings a life-transforming word from God that uplifts, delivers, and sets you free from challenges.
ACTION STEPS:
When you have identified God’s sent man over your life, do the following:
- Believe him and his ministry irrespective of his status, stature, race or colour (2Chro 20:20). Your profits in all your endeavours in life is tight to this.
- Obey every instruction he passes to you with delight (1Kings 17). Your obedience is a proof that you believe him. Example of this is the widow of Zarephat who obeyed Elijah even when his instruction to her was illogical, she obeyed and lived in plenty in the midst scarcity.
- Be a genuine follower. Elisha was a genuine follower of Elijah. The end result was the impartation of the double spirit of Elijah on him. Jesus says, follow me and I will make you…(Matt 4:19). It’s when you are made that you can command profit in life.
- Bless him with your resources. Example of this is the woman in Shunem (Read 2Kings 4:8-17).
PRAYER: As you put the above to work, I see God decorating your life and destiny with all round profits before the month is over, in Jesus name.
