APRIL PROPHETIC FOCUS:
“Total Victory” (1Cor 15:57)

ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:
“And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten” (2Chro 20:22)
Sometimes, the last thing you feel like doing in a difficult situation is praising God. But that is the very thing you need to do.
In the story of Jehoshaphat, the battle was won not because they fought, but because they praised God. As they began to sing and praise, God stepped in and turned the entire situation around. Beloved, praise is not just for when things are going well. You must recognise that praise is a weapon of war.
When you choose to praise God in the midst of a challenge, you are expressing trust in Him. You are saying, “God, I may not understand this, but I believe you are still in control.” And that kind of response invites God into whatever that situation is.
Praise redirect our focus. Instead of focusing on the problem, praise helps us to focus on God, the problem Solver. Praise also changes our atmosphere where fear begins to fade, and faith begins to rise within us.
So, my admonition today is, don’t wait until everything is perfect before you praise God. Start right where you are. In that situation, in that challenge, lift your voice in praise. Because as you praise, God will step in.
