ANCHOR SCRIPTURE: “And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake…” (Acts 16:25-26)

I want to emphasise again just as I mentioned last week Friday that genuine praise has the capacity to move the Hand of God for sudden intervention in our lives. There is no obstacle in life that will not bow at the Presence of God (Psalm 114). Praise attracts the Presence of God. When praise goes up, God shows up! If your challenge is not bigger than God, then it’s not bigger than praise.
Many are quick to pray when they are in difficult situations. Don’t get me wrong; there is absolutely nothing wrong with prayer. Prayer has its place, and praise has its place. Praises attract and move God anytime and anywhere. That’s what happened in today’s anchor scripture. Praise creates a joyful and conducive environment for God to operate. When you are joyful, you will be sensitive enough to pick the wisdom words from God for victory over the challenges at hand.
Praise takes your mind off the problems and focuses it on God, who is the Source of sudden intervention. God’s name is exalted when we praise Him and this gladdens Him and provokes His intervention. Earth-shaking praise provokes earth-shaking interventions of God. The city was moved into praising Jesus, and Jesus removed all forms and manner of sickness and disease from them. (Read Matt 21:10-14).
Today, and always, if you will take quality time to praise God, you will see His intervention in your life.
PROPHETIC PRAYER: Your praise today will raise you above all afflictions of the devil, in the name of Jesus Christ!
