TEXT: “And Jesus looking upon them saith, with men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible” (Mark 10:27)
OPENING PRAYER: “Father, I recognize the transformative power of your Word. As I read today’s Morning Tea Devotional, I ask that your Word penetrate my heart and mind, transforming my life and shaping my destiny, in Jesus name – Amen.”
I welcome you to a week that God will do His strange works and strange acts in our midst. Be expectant!
Today Monday, is MTD Covenant Day of Mercy. By the mercies of God, the impossible situation of your life shall be made possible this week, in Jesus name.
Pls follow today’s MTD closely.
In the Bible, God chose three women to demonstrate that with Him, nothing is impossible. He miraculously caused them to conceive and give birth, despite naturally impossible circumstances. Pregnancy is a common occurrence, but for these women, their individual circumstances made it humanly impossible. Yet, God intervened, proving that with Him, nothing is impossible.
Let’s highlight the stories of Sarah, Elizabeth, and Mary to prove that with God, nothing is impossible. Their experiences demonstrate that with God’s intervention, even the most challenging circumstances can become opportunities for miracles.
- The first woman was Sarah, who was well past the age of menopause. At 90 years old, she miraculously became pregnant. Why? Because with God, nothing is impossible. Jesus said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible” (Mark 10:27).
- The second woman is Elizabeth, mother of John the Baptist. Her situation seemed hopeless; her advanced age and barrenness made pregnancy impossible. Yet, God intervened, and Elizabeth conceived. Luke 1:36-37 records, “And behold, your cousin Elizabeth has also conceived a son in her old age…For with God nothing shall be impossible.” Her story, encourages us to trust God beyond human limitations for with Him, nothing is impossible.
- Thirdly, God chose Mary to bear Jesus. Unlike Sarah and Elizabeth, Mary’s challenge wasn’t age, but she was a virgin, making pregnancy physically impossible. Yet, God’s plan prevailed. Mary’s story teaches that God’s will cannot be limited by human constraints. As a virgin, pregnancy seemed impossible, but God’s will prevailed, and Mary gave birth to Jesus. With God, the impossible becomes possible.
What’s the impossible situation you’re facing in your life, business, or home? Remember, it may be impossible from a human perspective, but not with God. Jesus said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible” (Mark 10:27).
