ANCHOR SCRIPTURE: “Then Samuel took a vial of oil, and poured it upon his head, and kissed him, and said, Is it not because the LORD hath anointed thee to be captain over his inheritance? When thou art departed from me to day, then thou shalt find two men by Rachel’s sepulchre in the border of Benjamin at Zelzah; and they will say unto thee, The asses which thou wentest to seek are found” (1Sam 10:1-2)
God by His Word, assured us that every participant of today’s LIVE program will be returning with an oil of favour on their head. The most important need of man, outside salvation and the gifts of the Holy Spirit, is favour. Favour can put into your hand what years of labour cannot. Your effort, your connections, and your qualifications are too limited to take you to where God design for you this year.
There’s one thing you need to terminate struggle, and that is FAVOUR. Today’s oil of favour will take you from the backside of life to the frontline of destiny, in Jesus name.
For instance:
- Joseph’s rose to prominence in a foreign land without qualification or connection by favour (Gen 39-41).
- The Israelites’ sudden transfer of wealth in Egypt was made possible by favour (Exo 3:21,12:36)
- Daniel’s influence in the land of captivity was because of God’s favour upon him (Dan 1-6).
- Jesus was in favour with God and man (Luke 2:52).
- The apostles were accepted by all the people because of favour (Acts 2:47).
