TEXT: “For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off” (Prov 23:18)
I welcome you to a week of divine visitation! On this MTD Covenant Day of Mercy, God will visit you and turn your circumstances around for the better this week, in Jesus name.
Divine visitation refers to a supernatural encounter, marked by tangible testimonies, as seen in biblical examples such as Sarah’s experience in Genesis 21, Jacob’s transformation in Genesis 28, Moses’ encounter in Exodus 3, and Paul’s conversion in Acts 9. To experience divine visitation, it’s essential that you cultivate desperation for God’s intervention. It’s this desperation that will bring divine encounter resulting in breakthroughs, miracles, and transformation.
However, there is a key that will set the stage for your visitation this week. This key will help you to get set for encounter with God.. The key is expectation.
Beloved, if you will see God’s tangible manifestations in your life this week, create a positive expectation. The woman with the issue of blood in Mark 5:25 said: “If I may but touch His garment, I will be made whole.” That was a precise expectation, and she received exactly what she expected.
Hear this: what you don’t expect, you cannot experience. If God will visit you this week, you must have an expectation that is backed up with action. The woman with the issue of blood had an expectation and put it into action, and she got exactly what she wanted.
Our expectations have a lot to do with what happens to us in life. Many are held down or lifted up today by what they expect daily. If you expect the worst to happen, that is what you will get, and if you expect the best to come out of your situation, that is what you will see. Your experience is a direct product of your expectation.
WHAT TO DO:
Add actions to your expectations this week. Act in line with what you expect from God and you will see it, in Jesus name!
