OCTOBER PROPHETIC FOCUS:
(Divine Visibility – Genesis 8:5)
Thursday, 8th October 2026
By Pst Israel Olorunfemi
ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:
“Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven” (Matt 5:14/16)
Right location is essential for our visibility as pointed out yesterday, but being in the right location is not enough. God does not place people for them to remain hidden; He places them so they can shine as the light that they are.
Many people desire visibility, but the truth is that visibility begins with expressing what God has deposited in you. There must be something God put in you for people to see. If God has given you a gift, don’t hide it, use it. If He has given you a skill, don’t let it remain dormant, develop it. If He has given you an assignment, pursue it diligently.
A teacher, for instance, cannot be recognized if he refuses to teach. A singer cannot be visible if she refuses to sing. In the same way, your light cannot shine if you keep what God has given you locked up inside you (Luke 11:33).
Beloved, another thing you must note is never to compare yourself with others. God did not create you to be someone else. He created you to maximize what He has placed within you. What you have may seem small, but in God’s Hand, it’s enough to make a difference.
So, from today, stop focusing on what others are doing and concentrate on developing and expressing your God-given potential. As you faithfully use what God has given you, He will cause your light to shine before men and bring you into the platform He has ordained for your lifting.
So, I say to you; let your light shine!

I see your light shining brighter and brighter from this month onwards, in Jesus name.
