ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:
“It is written: “I believed; therefore I have spoken.” With that same spirit of faith we also believe and therefore speak” (2Cor 4:13 NIV)
February 2026, in the Morning Tea Devotional Family, is our month of Abundance of Rain. But receiving a prophetic word for the month is not enough, we must also know what to do to see it come to pass. That is why it is vital to lay this foundation before we dive into the main subject.
Surely as the Lord lives, the prophetic word for this month will find speedy fulfilment in your life and my life, in Jesus name.
I want you to understand first of all that prophetic focuses or themes as some call them are not empty declarations, they are sworn verdicts. The Bible says: “The Lord of hosts hath sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand” (Isaiah 14:24).
Every prophetic word is a sworn verdict and it requires our cooperation to see it fulfilled. This month has been declared as our month of Abundance of Rain.
To see this fulfilled, we must engage in bold speaking. This means, we must keep saying it boldly and confidently. The Bible says: “…for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me” (Heb13:5-6). Did you see that? He had said that we may boldly say.
You will always have whatsoever you say not what others say. Testimonies always answer to bold declaration. It is our month of Abundance of Rain. Keep saying it no matter the dryness that may be around you.
However, you must be born again for the prophetic word to become a reality in your life. If you are not born again yet, this is an opportunity to do so. Say this prayer and mean it from your heart:
“Lord Jesus, I come to you today. I am a sinner. Forgive me of my sins. Cleanse me with your blood. Today, I accept you as my Lord and Saviour. Thank you Jesus for saving me! Now, I am born again!”
