ANCHOR SCRIPTURE: “And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it…” (Gen 1:28a)
- PERSONAL PRAYER: “Father, thank you for the transformative power of Your Word. Let your Word through the Morning Tea Devotional today transform my life and destiny, in Jesus name – Amen.”
As we conclude our theme for the month, Fruitfulness, let’s revisit the foundation of this subject. In Genesis 1:28, our anchor scripture today, God blessed man and commanded him to “be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it…”
So, what does it mean to be fruitful? Here are some key points to remember:
- Fruitfulness is about achieving outstanding results: It’s about excelling in your field, receiving favour, and making progress, even when others are struggling.
- Fruitfulness is a result of dependence on God: You cannot be truly fruitful without God’s help. You must recognize that you need Him to succeed.
- Partnering with Jesus is key: In John 15:5, Jesus says, “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.” Beloved, when you partner with Jesus, you will never suffer loss, and you will always be fruitful.
- Fruitfulness outside of God is limited: No amount of human effort can produce genuine fruit without God’s involvement.
As you apply these principles, remember however, that fruitfulness is not just about achieving success; it’s about honouring God and fulfilling your purpose.
PROPHETIC PRAYER: I pray that the Lord will surround your life with an abundance of fruit, and that you will experience His favour and blessing in all you do, in Jesus name.
