TEXT: “And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up, and saw him, and said unto him, Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down; for to day I must abide at thy house” (Luke 19:5)
I see God’s blessings upon every faithful and committed lover of Morning Tea Devotional. Your own blessings shall manifest this week, in Jesus name.
Say this prayer after me: “Father, I recognize the transformative power of your Word. As I read today’s Morning Tea Devotional, I ask that your Word penetrate my heart and mind, transforming my life and shaping my destiny, in Jesus name – Amen.”
Now, pay attention to what I’m about to say: If we’re going to experience profit/success in life, career, business, and ministry, we must seek God’s blessing. Genuine profit/success in life is a direct result of God’s blessing.
The Bible says: “And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth” (Gen 1:28). Adam’s life exemplified all-round profit/success until sin entered. You too can enjoy all-round profit/success through God’s blessing.
However, being faster, stronger, or smarter doesn’t guarantee God’s blessing. It’s about being in the right place, at the right time. Take Zachaeus in today’s anchor scripture, for example (Read from verses 1-10). His strategic positioning opened the door to a flood of blessings that transformed his life and household. In the remaining days of this month, I want you to pray that God directs your path, leading you to the right opportunities. Ask Him to guide your steps and give you wisdom to recognize His openings.
Remember, God controls time and chance. He can put you in the right place at the right time if you’re willing to listen to His promptings and follow His lead like Zachaeus.
Ruth trusted God for favour when searching for a field to glean. The Bible says: “She happened to come to the part of the field belonging to Boaz, who was of the family of Elimelech” (Ruth 2:3). Among all the fields in Bethlehem, she ended up in Boaz’s field, where he, a close relative of Elimelech (her father-in-law), was also her potential kinsman redeemer. As a man of great wealth (Ruth 2:1), Boaz was willing to redeem Ruth from her plight as a young, childless widow in a foreign land (Ruth 4:9-10). These circumstances indicate that God placed Ruth in the right place at the right time, setting her life on a new path.
It is your turn!
