ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:
“For God is not unjust to forget your work and labour of love…” (Heb 6:10a)
PERSONAL PRAYER:
“Father, thank you for another day. Speak to me as I read today’s MTD, in Jesus name – Amen.“
One of the greatest assurances in the Word of God is that God does not forget. Forgetfulness is a weakness of man, not of God. He sees, He remembers, and not just that He remembers, He also rewards. Beloved, every step of faith you have taken and every act of love you have shown towards His name has been carefully noted in His book.
The Bible says: “And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works” (Rev 20:12)
It may sometimes feel like God is silent over your issues. You may even feel overlooked, especially when others are testifying while you are still waiting. But I want you to know that God’s silence is not forgetfulness; it is preparation. When your moment of remembrance comes, the reward will be worth the wait. The good news is: That moment of remembrance is now. Hallelujah!
Look at Hannah for instance. She must have been praying, and it seemed for years that God has forgotten her. God doesn’t forget, He remembers and He rewards. The Bible says: “And the Lord remembered her” (1Sam 1:19c). That remembrance turned her reproach into joy.
This month, I want to assure you that God has not forgotten you. Your season of remembrance is here. September will be a month to remember in your life, in Jesus name.
PROPHETIC PRAYER:
The rewards for your labour and sacrifices for the kingdom will manifest openly this month, in Jesus name.
