ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:
“Jesus replied, “If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him” (John 14:23 NIV)
PERSONAL PRAYER:
“Father, as I read today’s MTD, draw me into deeper fellowship with you. Let my life become a daily expression of Your Presence, in Jesus name – Amen.“
As we bring the subject of Divine Visitation for a Change of Story to a close today, there’s one more truth I want you to hold on to. That truth is: God doesn’t just want to visit your life, He wants you to have fellowship with Him.
Yes, visitation is powerful and desirable. For instance, God visited Abraham to reveal His promise, Moses to call him to a life of purpose, and Mary to give her an assignment. But beyond those moments, what God really wants is fellowship, a daily walk with you, not just occasional encounters.
Note this down: Visitation changes your life while fellowship changes you.
To live in daily fellowship with God, you need a personal altar, quality time in prayer, worship, the Word, and above all, constant obedience to His instructions. God stays where He is honoured. He won’t dwell in a life that ignores His voice or holds on to sin.
So, beloved, God wants to be a part of your everyday life, not just on Sundays alone. He wants to be a part of your thoughts, your choices, your relationships, and even your quiet moments.
Ask yourself this question: “Is God a guest in my life, or does He truly live here?”
Divine visitation is good, but fellowship is deeper and better. When you make room for God, He won’t just come and go. He will stay. Let your life be a place God can call home.
This brings us to the conclusion of our teachings on Divine Visitation. Thank you for journeying with us throughout the month. My prayer is that every divine encounter you’ve experienced will lead to lasting transformation, in Jesus name.
