TEXT: “If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come” (Job 14:14)
God is a God who appoints times and seasons as I pointed out yesterday. You don’t have to force things to happen when it is not yet God’s appointed time. We need to have this understanding. Don’t ever allow yourself or anyone to push you to miss the appointed time of God for your life and destiny.
Job’s wife in the Bible tried it. She wanted to push Job away from God’s appointed time, probably out of shame or pressure from her family but, Job did not yield. Job’s reply was: “Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this Job did not sin with his lips” (Job 2:10).
Job had the understanding of the moves of God even in unpleasant situations. We need to have it too. Don’t allow anyone to push you away from God’s appointed time. He makes all things beautiful in His time, not in your time (Eccl 3:11).
Do not force things to happen the way Sarah did. “And Sarai said unto Abram, Behold now, the Lord hath restrained me from bearing: I pray thee, go in unto my maid; it may be that I may obtain children by her. And Abram hearkened to the voice of Sarai” (Gen 16:2). I am sure you know the end result of this decision. Ishmael (The permissive will of God) was born.
The perfect will of God for your life over that issue that troubles you is more important and much better than His permissive will. Wait on Him to get His perfect and not His permissive answer to that prayer.
Stop jumping the gun, trust and wait on Him for His timing for your life. He has answered all of your prayers but you must understand that He will bring them to physical manifestation in His own time! Don’t force things to happen else you will be forced out of God’s perfect will. That won’t be you, in Jesus name.
PRAYER: You will not miss God in life and in destiny, in Jesus name.
DAILY CONFESSION: This year 2023, I am finally on a Covenant Highway, Jesus is giving me Answers and I am enjoying Rest Round About – Amen and Amen!
