ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:
“And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee” (Exo 23:25)
PERSONAL PRAYER:
“Father, as I read today’s Morning Tea Devotional, impart me with grace for service, in Jesus name – Amen.“
Beloved, every covenant blessing is tied to a covenant responsibility. God is a Rewarder, but He rewards on the basis of alignment with His principles. One of the strongest positions a believer can take to attract Open Rewards is the position of service and prayer. Service is proof of your love for God, and prayer is proof of your dependence on Him. When you serve God faithfully and seek Him passionately, you create a platform for visible blessings.
Hannah is a great example. Though she was barren for years, she kept serving God, going to Shiloh every year. When her time of reward came, she was rewarded with Samuel, a prophet who changed the destiny of Israel (1Sam 1:27-28). Also, Anna the prophetess served God with fasting and prayer till her old age, and she was rewarded with the privilege of seeing baby Jesus before she died (Luke 2:36-38).
Every act of service counts, whether it is prayer, giving, soulwinning, helping, or ministering to people’s need in love. Even if no one sees or acknowledges it, God does. What you do in secret, He will reward openly.
So, I encourage this morning, commit yourself afresh to kingdom service. Put your hands and heart into God’s work, and watch Him honour you with visible blessings.
PROPHETIC PRAYER:
Grace to serve God wholeheartedly is yours today and always, in Jesus name.
