COMPLAINING IS NOT A SOLUTION

TEXT: “I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth” (Psalm 34:1)

  • PRAYER: “Father, thank you because your Word has the power to transform. As I read today’s Morning Tea Devotional, let your Word penetrate my heart and mind, transforming my life into a better one, in Jesus name – Amen.”

In this season of thanksgiving and as we prepare for the year 2025, I admonish you to be mindful of your words and attitude. Complaining can seem like an easy way out, but it can actually complicate the situation and hinder your progress.

Yes, there are things you need to do this season, and the demand is high. It may seem like there’s no solution in sight, but complaining isn’t the solution either. Instead of complaining, develop a heart of gratitude. Follow the example of our Lord Jesus, who gave thanks for the little, demonstrating the power of gratitude (Read John 6).

CONSEQUENCES OF COMPLAINING:

  1. When you complain about any issue, you make it harder to find solutions or a way out.
  2. A complaining spirit can hinder the flow of God’s blessings, and causes you to miss out on divine favour and opportunities.

To maintain a spirit of gratitude therefore, do the following:

  1. Express your gratitude to God through prayer, worship, or simply speaking words of thanks.
  2. Show your appreciation to God through gifts, acts of kindness, or other tangible expressions of gratitude.
  3. Take time to reminisce about the good things God has done in your life this year, no matter how small they may seem.

PROPHETIC PRAYER: There shall be sudden turnaround for you this season, in Jesus name.
