ANCHOR SCRIPTURE: “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will become fruitful” (Joshua 1:8 – Paraphrased)
- DAILY PRAYER: “Father, thank you for the transformative power of Your Word. Let your Word through the Morning Tea Devotional today transform my life and destiny, in Jesus name – Amen.”
A big congratulations to everyone who participated in yesterday’s MTD Covenant Day Of Mercy! Your commitment and sacrifice of time shall be rewarded with open testimonies, in Jesus name!
First of all, I want to emphasize that it is the Word of God that defines the future of every believer. As children of God, our future is determined by the Word of God. Therfore, don’t ever underestimate the power of God’s Word if your goal is to be fruitful in all your endeavours. You cannot be fruitful without applying the Word of God to your life. Psalm 119:105 says: “Your word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.”
Now, here are the biblical requirements for a fruitful life drawn from today’s anchor scripture:
- CONFESS THE WORD: The first instruction God gave Joshua was, “This book of the law must not depart from your mouth…” Beloved, your confession determines your possession. To be fruitful, confess what the Word says, regardless of your circumstances. Confess your fruitfulness without wavering. This is an effective way to silence the devil’s harassment in your life.
- THINK THE WORD: God instructed Joshua to “meditate on the Word day and night.” To meditate means to think deeply about something, pondering or reflecting on it. This is crucial because what you think is what you truly are, and it will eventually manifest in your life. Proverbs 23:7 says: “As he thinks in his heart, so is he.” Continuously think about what the Word of God says concerning your fruitfulness, and soon it will become your reality.
- PRACTICE THE WORD: God told Joshua to “observe to do what the Word says.” The blessings of God depend on our doing the Word, not on hearing the Word. Jesus’ mother told the servants, “Whatever He tells you, do it” (John 2:5). Is there an instruction you have failed to act upon? This could be the key to your undeniable fruitfulness.
PROPHETIC PRAYER: The Word of God shall pave the way for you this week and beyond, in Jesus name.
