TEXT: “And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left” (Isaiah 30:21)
As we approach year 2024, it is important that we take out time to seek the face of God for the next phase of our life and existence. If God leads you, you’re on your way to having an outstanding success. When you are in the centre will of God, what others struggle to achieve becomes cheap for you.
Today, I want to highlight some of the benefits we enjoy when God directs us in the new year so we can seek His face today through Sunday with all zeal and zest.
What are some of the benefits of Divine Direction?
(A) IT HELPS TO ESCAPE DANGER. In the coming year, there are journeys that are not ordained by God for you. There are places that are not safe for you to be and these poke a risk to your life and destiny. But when you are guided by God, He will lead you beside the still waters free of dangers.
(B) IT HELPS TO GAIN SPEED. This is validated by the story of Abraham’s servant. In Genesis 24:12-15, Abraham’s servant said: “…O Lord God of my master Abraham, I pray thee, send me good speed this day…And it came to pass, before he had done speaking, that, behold, Rebekah came out,..” When you are led by God, you will gain speed and as a result, you will achieve in one year what should have taken you ten years.
(C) IT HELPS TO SECURE DIVINE BACKING. When you are doing things and going places as commanded by God, you are sure of His backing. When you are running the vision that originates from Him, you will enjoy divine provision. This is very important as we approach year 2024.
PRAYERS: You will not miss it in life and in destiny, in Jesus name – Amen.

MTD general thanksgiving is 2 days away today. The date is Saturday 30th December 2023. We shall return with a loud voice of thanksgiving to God whose grace has sustained MTD till date. We will thank Him in a dance and with our resources. As we do this, MTD as a mandate and you the partner will keep going up and up in life, in destiny and in impact come 2024, in Jesus name.
DETAILS OF THE THANKSGIVING:
- Gather your family/friends together early hour of Saturday in your home to give thanks to God for sustaining MTD for these years.
- Thank God for the impact of MTD since inception, especially this year 2023.
- Praise God in a dance for at least 10mins.
