OCTOBER PROPHETIC FOCUS:
(Divine Visibility – Genesis 8:5)

ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:
“While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal” (2Cor 4:18)
Beloved, one thing that weakens our faith is paying too much attention to the situations around us. When things are not working as expected, even when we have a promise from God that we are trusting Him to fulfil, we’re tempted to ask: “How will God do it?”
But we’re admonished to trust God even when we cannot see how He will bring His Word to pass. So, instead of focusing on what you see, focus on what God has said. Your inability to see how God will do it does not mean He cannot or will not do it.
In Gen 15:5, God told Abraham to look up and count the stars, promising that his descendants would be as many as the stars. Although Abraham had no child at the time, God wanted him to trust His word rather than focus on his situation. In the end, the promise was fulfilled.
Beloved, you may see closed doors where you expected opportunities, or disappointment where you expected good news. Do not allow these things to determine what you see concerning yourself. Like I mentioned last week, faith does not mean pretending that everything is fine; it means trusting God even when things are not going the way you hoped.
As the end of the month draws closer, keep your eyes on God’s word. Do not conclude that nothing will happen simply because you cannot see any sign yet. God is able to turn things around suddenly.
PROPHETIC PRAYER:
I see a supernatural turnaround in your life before December 31, in the name of Jesus Christ.
