OCTOBER PROPHETIC FOCUS:
(Divine Visibility – Genesis 8:5)
Thursday, 22nd October 2026
By Pst Israel Olorunfemi
ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:
“Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand” (Eph 6:13)
Beloved, there’s one important question I want us to examine today. The question is: “What do you do when you have prayed, fasted, worked hard, obeyed instructions, and done everything you know to do, yet nothing seems to change concerning the situation in your life?”
The answer is simple: “Stand firm in the Word of God.”
Standing firm in the Word does not mean you are to deny the reality of your situation. Rather, it means you’re to refuse to allow the situation to tamper with your confidence in God. Yes, your circumstances may not have changed, but you must know that God has not changed too.
Romans 4:20 tells us that Abraham staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief but was strong in faith, giving glory to God. Despite his age, the condition of his body, and the deadness of Sarah’s womb, he remained confident that God is too faithful to fail.
Beloved, don’t ever allow the delay of your expectations to make you abandon your faith in God. Continue to trust Him, even when you cannot explain what is happening. Having done all that is required of you, I say to you today, stand firm in His Word.
PROPHETIC PRAYER:
In the name of Jesus Christ, your faith will not fail you.
