SEPTEMBER PROPHETIC FOCUS:
(Holy Spirit, My Helper – John 14:16)

ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:
“This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh” (Gal 5:16)
Beloved, as we gradually come to the end of the month, we must understand that walking in the Spirit is not something we do only during prayers, Church services, or other spiritual activities. God wants us to be spiritual at all times. He wants to allow the Holy Spirit to influence our thoughts, words, and actions every day.
The anchor scripture says: “… Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.” To walk in the Spirit is to live with the consciousness of God and allowing the Holy Spirit to guide us everyday and in every situation.
Being spiritual at all times means that our behaviour should reflect Christ wherever we are, whether at home, at work, with friends, or alone. When we are offended, tempted, or faced with difficult situations, we should still allow the Holy Spirit to control our response.
Beloved MTDian, do not switch off your spirituality when you leave Church. Let the Presence of God remain evident in your daily life. Be spiritual in your conversations, relationships, decisions, and responses. Let the Holy Spirit govern you not only when things are going well, but also when you are under pressure or provoked. Our walk with God should not be a part-time experience; it should be a daily lifestyle.
Therefore, walk in the Spirit at all times and let Christ be seen in you wherever you go.
PROPHETIC PRAYER:
I pray that the Holy Spirit directs you at all times and helps you to walk in God’s will, in Jesus name.
