SEPTEMBER PROPHETIC FOCUS:
(Holy Spirit, My Helper – John 14:16)

ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:
“And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left” (Isaiah 30:21)
One of the greatest desires every MTDian should have is to know and understand the Voice of the Holy Spirit. God is still speaking today, but many struggle to recognize His Voice because they are not familiar with how He speaks.
One major characteristic of the Voice of the Holy Spirit is that it always agrees with God’s Word as mentioned yesterday. The Holy Spirit will never, I repeat, never, lead you contrary to the Bible. So, the more grounded you are in God’s Word, the better positioned you are to understand the Voice of the Holy Spirit.
You must also learn to distinguish the Voice of the Holy Spirit from your own thoughts, emotions, and desires. For instance, you may strongly desire a particular job and assume that receiving the offer means it is God’s direction. Be careful; no opportunity, no matter how attractive, is from God if accepting it requires you to disobey His Word.
Beloved, make it your daily pursuit to fellowship with the Holy Spirit so as to understand His Voice. As you walk closely with Him, you will become more familiar with His leading and His direction.
PROPHETIC PRAYER:
My prayer is that your spiritual ears be opened to hear the Voice of the Holy Spirit clearly, in Jesus name.
