SEPTEMBER PROPHETIC FOCUS:
(Holy Spirit, My Helper – John 14:16)

ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:
“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God” (Rom 8:14)
Beloved, the Holy Spirit desires to lead us in every area of life. However, we must understand the channels through which He guides us.
- He leads us through the Word of God. The Word of God is the foundation for the leading of the Holy Spirit. He will never lead you to do anything that contradicts the Scriptures. Therefore, when you are faced with a decision, always check whether it agrees with God’s Word. The more you know the Word, the easier it becomes to recognize His leading (details on this in tomorrow’s MTD).
- He leads us through the still small voice (Inner Promptings). The Holy Spirit often speaks through inner promptings or impressions in our hearts. You may suddenly feel prompted to pray, call someone, give, apologize, or take a particular step. Learn to pay attention to these promptings and respond in obedience, while ensuring they agree with God’s Word.
- His leading is always accompanied by peace. The leading of the Holy Spirit always brings an inner sense of peace and assurance. Even when He leads you to take a difficult step, there is a settled peace within you. Confusion, fear, and pressure should cause you to pause and seek God for further clarity.
I admonish you to stay in the Word, remain sensitive to inner promptings of the Holy Spirit, and follow His instructions. As you grow in fellowship with Him, you will become more familiar with His leading and experience His direction in every area of your life.
PROPHETIC PRAYER:
I pray that from this month, you will become more sensitive to the Voice and leading of the Holy Spirit, in Jesus name.
