SEPTEMBER PROPHETIC FOCUS:
(Holy Spirit, My Helper – Jn 14:16)

ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:
“But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?” (Acts 5:3)
I want to make it clear to all MTDians that the Holy Spirit is not a mysterious force or an invisible power, as some think He is. He is the Spirit of God. He is the third Person of the Trinity; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
Our anchor scripture shows us that the Holy Spirit is a Person who can be related with. Peter said to Ananias: “Why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost?” You cannot lie to a mere force. Ananias lied to the Holy Spirit because the Holy Spirit is a Person who knows, hears, and responds.
The Bible further reveals that the Holy Spirit speaks (Acts 13:2), teaches (John 14:26), guides (John 16:13), and can be grieved (Eph 4:30). These are clear indications that the Holy Spirit is not an impersonal power; He is a Person, and He is God.
Beloved, we cannot have a meaningful relationship with a force, but with a Person. The Holy Spirit is a Person, He’s God living in us and working through us. He desires fellowship with us and wants us to become conscious of His Presence in our daily lives.
As you fellowship with Him this month, my prayer is that you will experience a deeper relationship with Him and enjoy the reality of His Presence every day, in Jesus name.

May this day mark a new beginning for you spiritually, in Jesus name.
