ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:
“This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish” (James 3:15)
The third kind of wisdom revealed in our anchor scripture is the wisdom of the devil. It is a way of thinking inspired by Satan, causing people to seek solutions and achieve their desires through ungodly and deceptive means. Though it may seem wise and produce results, it is opposed to God’s Word and will ultimately lead to destruction.
Beloved, the devil is a master of deception. He can make a wrong path look right and present ungodly shortcuts as solutions to our problems. I’m talking out of experience. This is why we cannot rely only on what seems attractive, convincing, or profitable. We need spiritual discernment to examine every counsel and recognize whether it is from God or from the devil.
Prayer is a powerful way to sharpen our spiritual sensitivity. The more we give ourselves to prayer, the more sensitive we become to the voice and leading of the Holy Spirit.
Today, we are coming together for 30 minutes of intense prayer in the Holy Ghost, trusting God to unveil every hidden strategy of the enemy, give us discernment, and keep us firmly in His will.
