ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:
“That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God” (1Cor 2:5)
SUPPORTING SCRIPTURE:
“There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death” (Prov 14:12)
Your mind is a gift. God gave you the ability to think, reason, analyze, and make decisions. In school, we are taught to study problems, examine the facts, and arrive at logical conclusions. These are valuable skills. But human reasoning has limits, and life with God does not always follow human logic.
Remember Moses. He stood at the Red Sea. The Egyptian army was behind him, and the water was in front of him. Human reasoning said, “You are trapped. Give up.” But God said, “Stretch out your hand.” And the sea opened. That was not human logic. That was God’s wisdom.
Remember Gideon too. God told him to fight with only three hundred men. Human reasoning said, “You need more soldiers and better weapons.” But God said, “Less is equal to more.” And you know what? Gideon won. Beloved, God does not need your logic to move. He needs your trust.
So, check your heart today. Are you about to do something simply because it looks right, feels safe, or just because everyone agrees? Stop and ask God first. His answer may not make sense to you, but it will always lead you right.
Dear MTDian, do not let your own mind become your god. Let God’s Word lead you, even when it does not add up and even when people do not understand.
God sees what you cannot see. Trust Him more than you trust yourself.
PROPHETIC PRAYER:
I pray that God’s Word becomes your first thought, not your last option from today, in Jesus name.
